UNION OF STATES – Starts 10/16 (Mondays 1:10-3:10 p.m. for 4 weeks) by David Lamon
 
This class is a continuation of the class offered in the Spring quarter.  Learn more concerning America’s Greatest Conflict; and the Confederate perspective. Let’s look at the Confederate viewpoint relative to the causes, the prisons, the strategies, the battles and the results.  History is written by the winner, let us learns from the loser or were they ... really? Come join me as we relive the events that reformed the Union of States into a Nation.
 
David Lamon has the heartbeat for the presenting truth based on facts from first-hand accounts and other sources.  He has accumulated over 600 books on the War for Southern Independence in his personal library.  From his reading and research, he has shared his Confederate programs with schools, civic organizations and other public ceremonies.  Over the years, he has written Confederate editorials for newspapers and magazines.  David has visited many of the battlefields of the War.

ICL Classroom at Young Harris College.

Course fee $18.
