DESCRIPTION:Veteran's Day Service at Veteran's Memorial Park in Hiawassee next to Towns County Schools.  Everyone is invite to attend.  \n\n\n\nKeynote speaker is Dale Barnett the Past National American Legion Commander. He is a highly decorated military officer. He graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point. He served in combat in the Gulf War and was awarded the Bronze Star and Combat Infantry Badge. He retired after 22 years as a Lieutenant Colonel.\n\n\n\nWe will add 6 names of Towns County Veterans to our Memorial Wall. They are Frontz Goring\, Harold Nicholson\, George Shook\, Joyce Miller and Stanley Warth. \n\n\n\nEveryone is invited to attend and honor our Veterans! \n\n\n\nIn case of rain\, the Service will be at the Towns County Recreation Center.
