Starting and finishing in the charming Hiawassee Town Square, this scenic road race showcases the beauty of our mountain-lake community. Both courses feature stunning views of Lake Chatuge, with the half marathon offering a full 360-degree tour around its sparkling shoreline. With primarily flat terrain and well-maintained road surfaces, runners of all experience levels can enjoy a smooth, fast course surrounded by breathtaking scenery. Half Marathon: 7:30 am Start; 4 hour time limit (18 min 20 sec mile) 5K: 8:30 am Start Half Marathon - Registration $85 ($95 after January 31, 2026) Awards: Top 3 Men & Women; Top Men & Women Master and Grand Master. No duplication of awards.
