Tails and Tales Summer Reading Program at Towns County Public Library and Mountain Regional Library
The Towns County Public Library (TCPL) and Mountain Regional Library (MRL) Summer Reading Program has an exciting array of indoor and outdoor events scheduled for June and July! With this year's theme, Tails and Tales, the libraries are going big on all things animals! From a petting zoo in Young Harris Mayor's Park, to Tall Tales of Georgia with Smithgall Woods at the Towns County Beach, to Project Chimps at the Mountain Regional Library, students and adults will find many ways to engage with summer reading. Hand-outs and/or take-and-makes will be available at every event.
Students and adults may keep reading logs, play Bingo, and attend events to be entered into weekly prize drawings. Prizes include books, water bottles, puzzles, toys, t-shirts, cups, bookbags, and passes to Splash Island, the movies, and more!
